Strengthening National government capacity for carrying out good governance and effective adaptive planning is vital for resilient development in the face of changing climate. Research institutions and development organizations are testing and documenting different approaches in Africa so lessons can inform policy and action in other dry lands.



Policy action for climate change adaptation (PACCA) – The project is led by the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) and works with the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT), the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF), the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), and Bioversity International.
