Tanzania Country CSA Program – National Validation Workshop

The Government of Tanzania through the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Cooperatives (MAFC); and the Vice President’s Office (VPO) under the guidance of a multidisciplinary team of experts drawn from relevant Tanzania (Mainland and Zanzibar) Ministries and Departments, Agencies, Civil Society
Organization (CSOs), Private Sectors, Researchers and Academia; with technical and financial support from the NEPAD Climate Change Fund, Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), and East African Community (EAC), and the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS); has prepared a Country Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) Program (2015 – 2025), which is aligned with the AU/NEPAD Comprehensive Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP), the Tanzania Development Vision 2025, Agriculture Sector Policies
and Strategies, National Climate Change Strategy and Agriculture Climate Resilience Plan.

This validation workshop will bring together stakeholders to look through Tanzania’s CSA program result areas.
