YOU ARE INVITED TO THE AGRIPROFOCUS KENYA NETWORK DAY 2017!
The Annual Network Day has in the past 5 years attracted all the stakeholders in the agri-food sector: government agencies, research and academia, private sector, development partners and farmer organisations. The results have been increased partnership development, business deal making, knowledge sharing; and a clear understanding of business opportunities and opportunities for collaboration and co-creation. We strongly believe that collectively, we can influence agenda in specific themes within the agri-food sector. That’s why the Network Day provides the unique opportunity for members to share lessons, showcase their achievements and challenges, learn and foster collaboration in areas of interest.
This year, the Annual Network Day is scheduled for the Wednesday 15 November 2017 at Safari Park hotel in Nairobi. The theme this year is “Investing in Climate Smart Agriculture to enhance Food Security.” This is a day for the members and partners of the network to jointly go beyond the discussions from last year’s Network Day to unlock investment opportunities for climate smart agriculture. The key questions to explore include:
++ What successful CSA models exist and how can lessons, experiences and challenges be shared?
++ What investment opportunities exist for CSA and what is needed to unlock these opportunities?
++ What opportunities exist to integrate youth into CSA interventions?
