Its crunchtime at the COP21 climate negotiations in Paris as the deadline for a new climate accord is tomorrow (Friday). And its the planets poorest than continue to bear the brunt as the devastating effects of El Nino are being felt across Africa. Africa which causes the least damage the environment suffers the most from the harm caused by developed nations on the globe.
In this clip, Prof Godwell Nhamo from Rhodes University calls on African countries to also invest in climate change adaptation. At the same time, he urges developed nations to fulfill their obligations to the Green Climate Fund.
